Before I became a therapist, I worked in the corporate world for over a decade. I realized that my calling and purpose lay instead with helping people heal. This led me to become a life coach, and I started guiding others to set and reach goals, navigate life transitions, and work through obstacles. It was extremely rewarding for me to witness my clients have breakthrough moments and find fulfillment.
I came to want more depth in my practice. Life coaching, while extremely useful for certain challenges, doesn’t address deep-seated issues the way clinical therapy does. And so I went back to school and became a clinical counselor. My background and training now allow me to meet my clients where they’re at. Are you looking for ways to overcome stuckness and burnout? Do you want someone to motivate and guide you while you work on personal and professional goals? Or are you looking for a non-judgmental space to address your past traumas and darkest wounds? Whatever your intentions and needs are, I’m here to provide a safe container, to see and hear you, and to help you grow.
This kind of healing work isn’t easy, but it’s immensely rewarding. So many of us numb and distract ourselves to cope, but there are healthier options available. While trauma is universal, there is so much intergenerational trauma present within Asian and BIPOC communities in particular, along with stigma against mental health concerns. I’ve embarked on my own healing journey, examining the ways trauma has shaped my family and am now working to write a more uplifting story for myself and my loved ones. I would be honored to witness your story and help you rewrite your narrative in a way that leaves you feeling empowered and hopeful.
If you’re looking to be deeply seen and understood while you do this work, don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
